Content Removal Request

Request urgent removal of content depicting you or for which consent has been withdrawn.

LiveSlips processes valid removal requests within 24 hours. Most are actioned within 4-6 hours of receipt.

Use This Page If …

This page is for individuals who appear in content hosted on LiveSlips and wish that content removed. You can use it whether or not you originally consented:

If the content depicts a minor (under 18):

Email dmca@liveslips.xyz immediately with subject "URGENT - suspected minor in content" and the URL. We remove the content on receipt and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. You do not need to provide any additional information to trigger the removal; the email alone is sufficient.

How to Submit a Removal Request

Email dmca@liveslips.xyz with the following information:

  1. The specific URL(s) of the content you want removed (copy from your browser's address bar);
  2. Your relationship to the content — one of:
    • "I am the person depicted in this content";
    • "I am the parent/legal guardian of a minor depicted in this content";
    • "I am the producer/copyright owner" (consider also using our DMCA process for stronger statutory protection);
  3. A brief statement: either that you did not consent to the recording/distribution, or that you are withdrawing prior consent;
  4. A way to confirm your identity (we never store this beyond the duration of the request):
    • A selfie with a piece of paper showing today's date and the words "LiveSlips removal request" written on it; or
    • If you are a public figure, a verified social-media post from your authenticated account stating the request; or
    • If the content includes an identifiable feature visible only to you (e.g. a tattoo in a location not shown in the content), describe it — we will verify against the depiction.

You do not need a lawyer, you do not need to provide ID, and you do not need to file a police report to use this process. The verification step is so we don't remove content based on impersonation, not as a barrier to legitimate requests.

Email a Removal Request

Timeline: 4-6 hours typical, 24 hours maximum, for requests with sufficient information. CSAM and suspected-minor cases are removed immediately on receipt of a credible report.

What We Do When We Receive Your Request

  1. Acknowledge receipt — you get an automated confirmation within minutes;
  2. Take the content offline pending review — for any plausible NCII or minor-related request, we de-publish before completing verification;
  3. Verify — we cross-check the identifying detail you provided. This usually takes 1-2 hours during US/EU business hours;
  4. Permanently remove — the file is deleted from R2 storage and the database reference is purged, and the item is recorded on our internal removed-content list;
  5. Confirm completion — we email you the deletion record.

Re-Upload Prevention

Every upload to LiveSlips is held for human review before it is published — nothing goes live automatically. When content is removed under this process, it is recorded on an internal removed-content list, and reviewers check incoming uploads against that list and against the original filename so the same material is not re-published. If you find removed content has reappeared, reply to your original removal email with the new URL and we will take it down and block the source account.

Reporting Without Identifying Yourself

If you would prefer a third party file the request on your behalf (a friend, an attorney, an advocacy organization), they may do so — just state in the email that they are submitting on your behalf and include the same identifying detail. Common third-party reporters we work with include the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative, StopNCII.org, and Take It Down.
